Press Release Regarding The Attack In Somalia

It was learned with deep sorrow that a terrorist attack was perpetrated in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, during the evening hours yesterday (21 January) against a restaurant in which bomb vehicles were used and a large number of civilians among whom there were women and children lost their lives.

We condemn this henious attack targetting the civilians and normalization process in the country.

We wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives in the attack and convey our condolences to their relatives.

Turkey will continue to stand by the people of Somalia in order to be able to contribute to the establishment of peace and welfare in Somalia.
